Proposed Project
Friends, to make our school’s 125th anniversary memorable; we, few past students along with school teachers and management prepared a “Wish List” about what could be changed/improved/upgraded in the school. An appeal to the past students was made then through the newspapers.Now also constant effort is on- be thru social media like Facebook, Whats App, Web or School Admin, to contact the past students. A number of students have come forward and recorded their names and contact details. On the Whats App, many batches have formed the groups as well.
Primary SEction
There are 6 class rooms in primary section and they all need face lift. We can make a kid’s corner, kid’s library, e-learning, convert the lower part of the walls into drawing boards for the kids, funky toys, musical corner and lot more.
Classrooms:
A typical classroom up gradation will include
• Sound proofing of windows @ 40000/- per window (size about 6’ x 8’)
•Painting of walls @ Rs 10/sq ft (school should do this, but if we have to do it; that’s the rate)
•Typical size of a class room is 20’ x 30’ x 12’(ht)
•Interesting and attractive paintings done by our current students with guidance @ Rs 150/sq ft
We also planned to design Kids Corner for Kinder garden students, with this our plan is to include Musical Instruments, Kids Library and eBooks which are costing approximately Rs. 1 Lac.
The total expected expenses of primary section project is Rs. 2.5 to 3 Lacs.

Secondary SEction
There are 24 class rooms in secondary section and they all need face lift.
•Windows sound proofing and painting costs per room are similar to that of primary school
•We need to do restoration of benches
@ Rs 1500/bench, Typically there are 40 benches in each class room. Total for this is Rs 60000/-per room
•Painting of these benches @ Rs 125/bench
•Total cost per class room in secondary section will be Rs 1.5 to 2 Lac
•It is possible that any one group can take on more than one class room as their project.

Teachers' and Visitors' Room:

•Exhaust fan, electrical work and white board

•Sofa set, corner cupboard and coffee table etc
•General repairs to the walls and doors

Total expected expense for both projects is Rs 5.4 Lac.
However, this project can be divided into two components and taken up by two different groups if wished.
Plants for Botany Section:
Total expense of Rs 50000/- required for
•Varieties of plants required by Botany section for teaching purpose
•Bamboo plants required outside Library to mask noise and pollution
A very small project any nature loving person can do it on individual basis!!!
Sports Facilities:
Total expense of Rs 50000/- required for various aspects of sports facilities such as purchase of
•Yoga mats
•Mallakhamb

स्वच्छ शाळा अभियान :
Total expected expense of Rs 50000/- required for various items such as purchase of
•30 Dustbins to go in each class room, teachers room, library, drawing hall etc
•12 big dustbins (3 on each floor corridor)
•Big compost bin at one corner of the grounds to encourage better understanding of recycling of waste and keep the school clean.
A lot renovation can be done in short span of time. Secondary school library and Drawing hall project plans are almost completed, it will take only 6 weeks for the drawing hall and 12 weeks for the library project.
Advantage for you is that we have already made these plans, we know the experts who will work with us.
